Ben is the creator of Semites and has been a stage actor for over fifteen years, starring in the West End, seasons at the Nuffield Theatre and Orange Tree, the Southwark Playhouse and Arcola Theatre, and the political drama Reading Hebron which also explored the Israeli Palestinian story.

Daniel Goldman is an award winning director, translator, dramaturg and playwright. Directing credits include Thebes Land (Off West End Award Best Production 2016),You’re not like the Other Girls Chrissy (Stage Award for Best Solo 2010 & Olivier Award Nomination 2011), Team Viking, A hundred different words for love and Revelations with James Rowland (Vault Festival Origins Award 2016, Best Show Award 2017 and Three Weeks Editors Award 2018)and Tangram’s Scientrilogy with John Hinton (Adelaide Fringe Best Show Award 2016 & 2018, Off West End Award for Best Show for Young People 2015). Daniel is the Artistic Director of Tangram Theatre Company and CASA Theatre Festival.

TANUSHKA MARAH

After completing a BA Honours  in Philosophy, Tanushka trained in theatre. She set up her own ensemble, Company:Collisions, in 1999 which toured for ten years all across the UK  and abroad both in theatres and outdoors. She was a winner of one of The Genesis Young Vic Young Director Awards at the Jerwood in 2002. Her production of Medea, developed at the Young Vic, toured international festivals in Cyprus and Albania, representing British Classical Theatre.  Her work has appeared twice at the London International Mime Festival. Her last production, Rest Upon The Wind, performed to sell out audiences in London’s West End before touring extensively in the Middle East during 2012.  She now works as a freelance director and movement coach and has directed many plays including  Dracula, Beauty and the Beast, Macbeth, Agamemnon, Animal Farm, Arabian Nights, and Tunnel. She has wor  She has also directed two shows for apprentice actors/emerging artists in Liverpool, Hope Street and Aberystwyth Arts Centre. In 2017 she worked with Brighton People's Theatre as a guest director on Tighten Our Belts-- (devised political theatre).  She also runs a yourh theatre company WYActors whose production of Berkoff's Agamemnon won The Outstanding Theatre Award at Brighton Fringe 2017 and their most recent production About A Revolution ( devised political theatre)  sold out at Brighton Fringe this year.
